Founded in 2012, Picture Book Fashion is an independent fashion label based in Scotland, specialising in quality sartorial pieces delivered with uniquely exceptional service. In early 2016, Picture Book Clothing approached Ibiza Digital Media to boost awareness and brand engagement with their bespoke A-Dee &, latterly, Mitch & Son fashion lines through effective use of Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. Through our work with Picture Book Fashion for these lines, a number of specific objectives were identified early on. As well as working to increase brand awareness and user engagement online, we felt that it would be highly beneficial to establish and nurture relationships with boutiques & retailers across the UK & Europe who could potentially stock both A-Dee & Mitch & Son product lines.

Within our Facebook advertising strategy, we ran a number of campaigns; including Page Likes & Promoted Posts. Since beginning work on the A-Dee account in 2016, their Facebook likes have increased by almost 5,000:

Following this success, we began work with Picture Book Fashion on their Mitch & Son fashion label, increasing online support by over 3,000 fans on Facebook:

So far, paid adverts from our work with Picture Book Fashion have gained over 5,000 across both A-Dee & Mitch & Son Facebook pages. Organic Page Like growth across both pages has reached over 3,000 across both pages, we have further seen a dramatic increase in reach, impressions and engagement respectively across both A-Dee & Mitch & Son online content. The total reach since our work began with both brands has soared to over 144,000, with total impressions through our paid advertising strategy climbing to just under 600,000.

As with every online campaign, these kind of healthy statistics are impossible without a rigorous and strategically-implemented content strategy. Below is an example of our best performing paid posts for A-Dee:

Whilst paid advertising is instrumental in achieving success in having your brand message heard over the noise of the competition; sometimes content can compete on its own merit with no advertising budget. We’ll let this next example from Mitch & Son speak for itself:

In addition to our Facebook strategy implementation, we also built a bespoke Twitter & Instagram strategy for each of the two brands following an extensive social media audit. Between February-November 2016 alone, our Twitter strategy managed to take the A-Dee Twitter following from 453 to 1,421; with the Instagram follower count growing from 2,154 to 4,461 in the same period.

Similarly, through implementation of social strategy for Mitch & Son, we managed to increase Twitter follower numbers by over 35% from May-November 2016, whilst simultaneously taking the Instagram follower count from 1,929 in April 2016 to 3,214 in November of the same year.
